ZANAGEN® is a new Health Sciences company that has developed a new platform of therapy referred to as topical cellular delivery “TCD” which has been designed to manage and treat connective tissue dysfunction and pain by selectively targeting the pain pathways and healing cascade in the human body. TCD was developed through the collaborative efforts of the existing partners of ZANAGEN® who have extensive backgrounds in pharmaceutical sciences, pain and injury management, and business development.
Our strategy is to demonstrate product superiority through widespread distribution across all sports and accelerate customer adoption through a combination of product trial and product efficacy with incentives aimed at intermediaries that promote the use of our products to prospective customers. BIOS
Dr. Mark Lindsay – B.Sc., D.C., CSCS, ART, Med.Ac
Dr. Mark Lindsay is one of the most sought after chiropractors and soft tissue specialists by professional, world and Olympic athletes, and by organizations such as the NHL, NFL, NBA, and MLB. He is a graduate of Palmer Chiropractic College and Guelph University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science and Kinesiology. In 1996, Dr. Lindsay was recognized by the Canadian Chiropractic Sports Fellowship and named the “Outstanding Field Doctor” through his intensive work with Olympic Champion Donovan Bailey.
Dr. Lindsay has developed a strong network of clients and professionals, each performing at the top of their respective fields. Dr. Lindsay has consulted extensively with international and professional teams including MLB teams: New York Yankees, New York Mets; NFL teams Oakland Raiders, Denver Broncos, Cleveland Browns, Indianapolis Colts, NHL teams; Toronto Maple Leafs, Pittsburgh Penguins, Tampa Bay Lightning, Columbus Blue Jackets and with the Swedish Soccer team at Euro 2008.
Dr. Lindsay is also a research consultant at the Steadman-Hawkins Research Foundation, working with Dr. Marc J Philippon studying the relationship between the hip and abdominal wall. Dr Lindsay has just recently published his first book entitled: FASCIA – Clinical Applications for Health and Human Performance.
Chad Robertson – B.Sc. (Kin), B.Sc. (Pharm)
Chad Robertson holds a Bachelors degree in both Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University and Phamacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Alberta. He currently practices as a clinical pharmacist and consults in the areas of sports medicine. He recently, co-authored with Dr. Mark Lindsay a compendium entitled – “Fascia - Clinical Application in Health and Human Performance”, which was published by the prestigious publisher, Delmar Thomson. He currently serves as President of ZANAGEN® Limited a Canadian based company dedicated towards the development and marketing of topical delivery based nutraceuticals directed at the performance and therapists based marketplaces. His research expertise include product development activities such as setting product specifications according to BCS.
